GARDEN & FLOWERS
I have always enjoyed needlework, craft and making things, my grandmother was a dress maker and taught me how to sew and embroider as a child. Being artistically driven I was determined to go to Art School, whilst studying for my degree I got a part-time job working for DMC Creative World UK designing embroidery and cross stitch patterns. On graduating I became their first full time in-house designer. After working for the company for eight years I found that my job was becoming less creative and more managerial, it was time to see what I could do on my own. So I set myself up as a free-lance needlecraft designer and the rest as they say is history. My work is now published regularly in magazines and books world wide.
