RETRO FUN IN STITCHES CROSS STITCH BOOK

This book is a wonderful mix of some of the things I love to draw. From retro cars (I just adore the shapes!) to pastel animals (inspired by soft toys and Japanese Amigurumi knitting patterns), along with delicious-looking cakes.

Some of these patterns can be used to celebrate family events, such as births and weddings. You can even stitch a sweet animal to decorate a bedroom wall. Let your imagination go wild… Stitch cupcakes on aprons, make miniature fridge magnets using plastic canvas, and use a row of cars to make a cake band or perhaps appliqué a camper van on a giant cushion.

There is a variety of cross-stitch designs included in the book, making it suitable for both beginners and the more experienced stitchers. A beginner could start with a simple Cupcake design, while the more experienced stitcher might like to try the Congratulations Beetle as a wedding sampler. Whichever design you choose to make, add some personal details (using the cross-stitch alphabet I have included) to make a truly lovely gift.
